How to obtain an Amazon S3 access key pairĢ) Click your account name in the upper right corner, then select " Security credentials" from the menu.ģ) Scroll down, and click " Create access key."Ĥ) Select the " Third-party service" use case and check the " I understand the above recommendation and want to proceed to create an access key" box.ĥ) Optionally, enter the description tag value for your access key. NOTE: To configure the job with automation or other settings, click here. On the right side, click " Amazon S3" and select or create a folder on your Amazon S3 storage that you wish to back up or sync to.Ĩ) Your Job is now ready to Analyze and Sync. In the " AWS Secret Access Key" field under " Credentials," enter the " Secret access key" as it appears in your Amazon AWS account when generated.Ħ) After permission is given to GoodSync, your Amazon S3 account content will be displayed within the GoodSync interface.ħ) Select a folder that contains the data you wish to back up or sync on the left side.
